⚠ Important: Before connecting RazorPay to RentalWise, ensure you have a verified and active RazorPay account.
🚨 Critical Step: Website Verification for Live Payments
To generate API keys in Live Mode, you must provide details of the website where you will collect payments. If you cannot generate API keys in Live Mode, it may be because you haven’t provided your website details.
✔ What to Do:
During the onboarding process, RazorPay requires your website details for verification.
If you haven’t shared your website yet, follow the steps in your RazorPay Dashboard → Account & Settings → Website and App Settings to add your website details.
RazorPay will verify your website within 3 working days. Once verified, you can generate API keys in Live Mode and start accepting payments.
If your website is already verified, you can find its details under Website and App Settings in your Dashboard.
🔹 Test Mode API Keys: You can generate API keys in Test Mode without adding a website.
🔹 Still Facing Issues? Log in to your RazorPay Dashboard and raise a support request.
Go to Settings → Payment Methods
Click Add Payment Method and select RazorPay
You’ll see a form where you’ll need to enter credentials (details in Step 2).
Navigate to Account & Settings → API Keys → Generate Live Key
This will generate a Live Key ID and Key Secret

Copy the Key ID and Key Secret from RazorPay into RentalWise
Click Connect, and you’re all set! 🎉
🔹 RazorPay currently only supports refunds—we recommend checking refund requests after 24 hours to ensure they’ve moved past the Pending state.
