Understanding Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse is a revenue management tool that automates pricing for your short-term rentals on platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and more, using demand-driven data. It also offers financial operation tools to help you maximize revenue, reduce manual work, and focus on your unique properties and hosting experience.

How to Integrate Wheelhouse with RentalWise

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must create a Wheelhouse account before connecting it to RentalWise.

Step 1: Add the Integration in Your RentalWise Account

1. 1. Navigate to Integrations in your RentalWise dashboard.

2. 2. Click Add Channel and select Wheelhouse from the list.
   
   
   

Step 2: Retrieve and Enter Your Wheelhouse API Key

1. 1. In Wheelhouse, go to Your Profile > Add A Channel > API Key.

2. 2. Generate an API key.
   
   
   

3. 3. Copy the API key and paste it into the corresponding field in RentalWise.
   
   
   

4. Your integration is now successfully connected.

Step 3: Connect Your Properties

1. 1. Go to the Wheelhouse Integration View in RentalWise.

2. 2. Click Connect next to the property you want to sync.
   
   
   

3. 3. This action will create a new listing in Wheelhouse, allowing you to configure pricing directly from there.

Key Things to Remember

• Wheelhouse Controls Pricing – Once the integration is active, you can manage pricing only from Wheelhouse. Any price adjustments made in RentalWise will be overridden by Wheelhouse. However, availability settings will still be managed in RentalWise.

• Pricing Model Compatibility – If you manually built your properties in RentalWise or switched to Seasonal Pricing (Occupancy-Based Pricing), you must change to Nightly Pricing (Airbnb’s default pricing) before connecting to Wheelhouse.

• Disconnecting Wheelhouse – To disconnect a listing, first remove it from Wheelhouse, then unlink it in RentalWise.
